Just accept that everything being done is for 2024

April 18, 2023 04:39PM
Everything that is happening with the Rams is an organizational plan.
The near total free agent signing inactivity is to maximize the 2024 salary cap
while at the same time putting the Rams in a position to draft QB's Williams or Mayes.
I expect the Rams to have one of the worst W-L records in the NFL next year.
Trading Robinson is part of the overall plan. The Rams will pay most of his 2023 salary,
but I believe that the deal with the Steelers will include the Rams not being on the hook for his 2024 salary.
The 2023 Draft will be for getting players who will be more effective in 2024.
A RB with speed to possibly replace or be in addition to Akers.
WR with speed to replace or go with Jefferson and Atwell
Re -stock the DL and Edge rushers
DB's and special teams players in the later rounds.
Pre-draft meeting have been with offensive players with great speed,
Edge rushers, De's, and DT's, and only one OL, a OT.
I am not expecting the Rams to draft for the OL, even though they should.
