Robinson just didn't fit....Let's go get a WR that fits what McVay wants, a guy that can run great routes and BLOCK!
It's hard to find WR's that are not DIVAS.....Kupp, Woods, Sko, Jefferson.....WR's that will block and catch the ball.
Well, to be fair, AR was considered a very good blocker and his drop rate is among league’s best.
His problem in 2022 was that he couldn’t throw himself the ball.
I lay this fubar at the feet of Stafford, McVay, and a broken OL more or less equally. Such a missed opportunity.
Agreed Staff rarely looked AR's way but when he did, I didn't see anything special at all. AR looked slow, confused and dropped a few he should have caught.
Maybe it was a combo of Staff ignoring him and AR not being totally up to par with the playbook?
Either way, AR didn't look like anything special at all. Considering how loved Woods was and the type of player Woods was, it made AR look even less talented than what he was brought here to replace.
IMO, I am glad AR is gone. We should have kept Bobby Trees. He fit the offense better than AR did. Time for some NEW blood at the WR spot.
My concern is how long it took McVay to develop Tutu. How long will it take for whoever we draft this year to see the field?
I am sure we will be reading a ton of glowing camp reports about how good our Rookies are looking. I will wait to pass my own judgement once they actually start playing on Sundays!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
