and not have to pay out for what ever a year is worth to subscribe to You Tube it's cheaper. I was paying @$300 for the ticket with DTV, but I was also paying $140 a month on top of that for DTV. IF all I have to pay is $449, I'm saving money over what my yearly bill was with DTV...by quite a bit.
Right now with a Roku TV I'm paying out $0 for TV....we are not subscribed to anything they offer, just using all the free channels, movies etc....So paying out $450 is still less than the close to 2 grand with DTV. You couldn't get Sunday Ticket on it's own with DTV, you had to buy some DTV package 1st.
