But I don't think they can afford to move him. Also they do need to compete this year, that does matter and moving the QB without an answer is a problem.
Also I don't believe they can afford to move Stafford then add Rodgers. If there was an avenue to a younger QB maybe they'd do it but I keep hearing that the hits for moving Stafford would be very bad so idk.
I figure what happens is they take a young QB or trade for one that is being overlooked on another team's roster. Something like that. Try to get a productive season out of Stafford without getting him killed, and then he is on that list of trade deadline options like Akers, Robinson, etc., maybe even AD. Just depends on how and if the market shapes up for them and how well our rookies look at that time of the year. If it's good & bad in that order then we could sell though I don't think they're planning that way, rather it is an option if things go down a certain way.
