Will gut the defense and then draft/spend on Offense.
Get the offense back in shape so people can blame the Defense.
Last year was embarrassing for him. He failed on Offense so the narrative of him being an offensive genius took a hit.
If he has another season where the Defense outperforms the Offense, his legacy would be tarnished even more.
So, tear down the defense, invest in the offense. Start winning/losing shootouts. People start blaming the defense while he works on cementing his legacy as an offensive guru. Sucks for Morris, he is going to be the scapegoat. And we wanted a new DC for this? No up and coming DC would want to come into this situation.
