This step back in 2023 was bound to happen at some point. They couldn't press the pedal to the metal every single year.

Clear some cap space. Add more picks. Of course, drafting well remains critical.

Depending on health and how well they draft they should spike back up from 5-12. But that might be 8-9. Or 9-8. or 10-7. Hard to say.

Snead will certainly be put to the test this offseason. The importance of a good FA and draft simply cannot be overstated.
