I agree. Given the huge cap hit and relative little they would get in return they are better off keeping him and trying to maximize him with Stafford, a presumably healthier and better OL, etc.

In 2024 they can save over $10.1M in cap space if released or traded then. Give him 2023. I think he will be better.
