If the Rams trade Jalen this year, that is saying that the Rams aren't trying to go for a title. I am not ready for a rebuild because why would McVay or AD stick around for that? That would be seasons of Cooper piling up useless stats. I am not ready to enter that part of being a Rams fan just yet. I don't see how we can half measure this; either go all in or burn it down. I prefer not to be the Ravens, a perennial playoff team with no chance at actually winning the title. Losing Ramsey for what a low first round pick (?) creates more problems than it solves, there is no player in the late first that can replace him, AND whatever the cap savings won't be enough for us to outbid teams with 70+ million dollars in cap space. There is also the fact that FA's wanted to come to the Rams because we have the elite talent and attitude. Why come here if you can't enjoy the Jalen/AD affect or bask in the glow of the McVay brilliance? I feared losing Bobby Trees would be the end of the "We Not Me" era of the Rams and it might have been. I fear losing Ramsey might be the end of the "Rams are a serious threat to win the Super Bowl this year" era of the Rams, which would be even worse.
