on defense there is a pretty good chance they lose 2 of their 3 starters with Robinson and possibly Gaines gone....like to keep Gaines

Wagz gone and desperatly need an edge so some linebackers would be nice

could really use a starting corner as one kid can't tackle the other lacks speed

Saftey anyone....Fuller often hurt and Hopefully they keep Scott, but history says no

So 6 starters on defense

2 on oline

and depth would be nice back up TE a legit RB who can get over 600 yds a season, etc

I think you’re overreacting, F79.

I think they find a way to extend Gaines, but if not there are other DL players already on roster plus the draft.

Wagner isn’t going anywhere. He’s signed for ‘23.

Yes, a starting caliber CB is highly desirable and the draft will provide one. Btw, don’t discount the possibility that Coach Lake and/or Pleasant can get more out of Rochell, Durant, and Kendrick at CB than the previous staff ever could. Heck, I would bet big money on that.

Another Safety will be added from draft. This is a relatively easy position to restock. Again, our new coaches will likely boost the progress of Yeast, Lake, and Fuller along the way.

You didn’t mention Edge which is our biggest need on D. One will come from FA, trade, or draft. Bank it.

Better get a decent backup QB, too. White or Minshew? Mayfield?

You claim 6 players needed on D. I project only 3 new starters needed from outside and that’s assuming one will be needed at Safety. Edge, CB, and S as starters. With FA, trade, and draft as resources with which to get them.

On O?

I see one new FA starter at either LOT, OG, or OC. Jackson will play the non-acquired position at LOT or OG. Our new starting OC will either be a FA or more likely a Day 2 draft pick.

Both TE and RB need a boost but that can come from either FA or more likely the draft. This draft is loaded at both positions. Neither will have to be a starter this year, though, just quality contributors and injury insurance.

So, I count 3 new faces as starters on O and that assumes Higbee is beat out OR McVay is gonna use 12 sets extensively.

Again, FA, trades, and a draft with 10 picks that is loaded at many positions of Rams need.

Relax, F79. Snead/McVay are all over this.

Oops! I just saw that Wagner us gone. Bummer…

Welp, add one ILB to my D wish list, dammit!
