I have YouTubeTV.... I think the answer to your question is yes. At least it's worked every time I've tried it (not that often).
I don't know the price structures of all the gazillion services out there today... I do know YouTubeTV was drastically less than DirecTV when I changed (maybe 6 or 7 years ago). I didn't go directly to YouTubeTV however... hmmmm... used Sling? for a while. Then another, i forget which. All were cheaper than DirecTV, at least at the time I moved.
And I'm not trying to compare here.... perhaps a basic DirecTV subscription offers many more channels than YouTubeTV? I don't know. No an avid TV viewer I could probably get by with an over the air antennas
But my wife would have a conniption if she couldn't watch her game shows and some of those Doctor TV Series. - JamesJM
