I am always saying how I miss the NFL of the 70s / early 80s. I can say that as a Rams fan.

Back in those days, I liked seeing players stick around for the Rams and even other teams. BUT.....The Rams were always in the thick of things, along with the Cowboys, Vikes, Steelers Raiders and a few others. There were many teams who you could almost chalk up as wins......KC....Green Bay.....Seattle...
Seemed there was little variation in those days. These days, you can go from absolute Dumpster Fire to the Playoffs in one year. Look at the Jags!
