Claiming cancel culture is usually what the guilty do

Not saying he did something egregious, but when you're like -'I had a few drinks' that = you were drunk. When you say 'we exchanged pleasantries' - that means you probably said something you probably wished you hadn't. Maybe the NFL network overreacted, but why were they so quick to pull him from the game? And 100 million dollar lawsuit??!!! What kind of damages is he suing for? He hasn't been kicked off the NFL network permanently. This lawsuit kind of screams overcompensation. Like he's trying to scare the woman and Marriott. Who knows, but I'm pretty sure - cancel culture had nothing to do with it. For the record I think there are examples of cancel culture (see JK Rowling) but a drunken ex-nfl player with a checkered past making a woman feel uncomfortable / unsafe (presumably) is not it.
