That may be 1 reason for the drawn out play....If they need players and they obviously need a HC I can see them jerking Morris' chain, but go elsewhere and keep the picks.....They may have earnest interest in Morris but those picks are keeping them at a distance?

IMO he's not a sure thing to throw 2 3rd picks at......He flops and they lose out in multiple ways going forward.
