Good for him and I think he will do well.
The other 4 HC positions have varying degrees of challenges for their new HC’s. I don’t envy any of these guys their first couple of years with their new teams.
Broncos. Saddled with that horrible contract for Wilson for years at same time that his skills are steeply degrading. Whew!
Texans. An historically dysfunctional franchise going back years. Ryan’s was initially reported to be uninterested in even doing an interview there.
Cardinals. Talk about dysfunctional. Not only an extremely inept FO, owned by Bidwells, but they are also saddled with a crippling contract to Murray that they can’t solve for years. Who would even WANT that job?
Colts. Yet another dysfunctional franchise owned by Irsays. Now they want a 3rd round of interviews while other teams are snatching up assistants? Fired Reich mid season and replaced him with Jeff Saturday? Irrational, man. Why would Morris want to go to that hell hole?
