I really like the kid.

He has had one of the coolest college careers.

At some point, you hit a threshold.

Can he be a good backup? Maybe. Likely good enough to run a scout team.

But Im comparing him to Haener and Duggan. We "might" have to spend a pick on them.

In a different year he may get drafted...

But the top 5 are set (and I'm sold on 3 of those) ... after that you're drafting a backup (or a replacement for Lamar Jackson if you're smart and take Malik Cunningham) ...

Most teams have backups. So now it's a competition backup.

It's just tough to get drafted as a backup and I don't have him above Haener or Duggan and I haven't seen the smaller school kid yet.
