Well, if this is true and Shelton does, in fact, hold a player option for next season...
I think that I'd opt out of it if I were him and simply seek a modest raise from the Rams for the 2023 season. This would not be unheard of from this organization.
Not sure what the team is doing giving non-superstar O-Linemen player-option contracts.
