The best asst coaches and the best fits go quickly. It’s like a game of musical chairs played at double time.
That’s what happened to McVay last year. By the time the SB was over he had many coaching holes and the best fits were long gone.
At least that won’t happen this year. McVay can take enough time to be sure about his hires but then he knows he must act and I’m sure he will.
