Do you know what it was, LA? I didn't like how dismissive a lot of NFL fans were of the Bengals last year. I didn't like it at all.
Fans, but also media tarts, would imply that the Rams were lucky to have played the Bengals in LVI.
It was through some flaw in the universe that the mighty Patrick Mahomes, or the incomparable Josh Allen did not get to play in the Super Bowl last year because one of those two would surely have won it.
My argument has always been that if Buffalo and Kansas City were that good, they would have made it to the Super Bowl to prove it. You can't talk about how you should be a world champion while sitting on your couch with a bowl of cereal or a sandwich stacked with lunch meat.
The Bills and their fans know this, so this was to be the year to set the record straight.
But a funny thing happened along the way, and now we have silence.
Sweet, sweet silence.
