You just know that one GM who fell asleep during spelling because he didn’t want to compete in the Spelling Bee after school is going to pick the wrong guy due to a name mix up. But he will never cop to this. He’ll say he picked the guy they wanted all along.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

He’s about the size of Gurley but doesn’t look like he’s got next gear level speed. But you’ve got to love how north and south runs.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
Remember he said he’s no longer eating McDonalds so the weight he shed was likely bad weight. I think he’ll put on some good weight as long as it doesn’t slow him down.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
Let’s put it this way. We’re you happy with Byron Young last year? Did you think he’d show out like he did? If the Rams could do that in back to back years, would you be satisfied? We’ll never know if he’s a bust if we don’t draft him. :ROTF I, for one, wouldn’t blame the Rams if they draft him with the expectation that he’ll do what Young did in his first season. This is about whetheby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

Nice work—goes without saying—DP. I’m starting to warm up to Chop. My question is as much as he measures up to Micah Parsons, the one thing—and it might seem trivial—that Parsons has is talons; big 11” inch mitts for him to grab and shed with. Chop has 9 1/2 (I think). Same with the top DLs. Jer’Zhan Newton has 9 1/2” hand and Byron Murphy 2 has 10 1/4. Probably myopic on my part anby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
We focus on one glaring need that’s been there since Von Miller’s been gone. But the Rams have another need and it may be just an issue of personnel and that’s the red zone. The Rams have no problem driving the length of the field. But the inability to punch it in from the red zone cost us the Lions’ wildcard game and a handful of those early season losses. I used to work right there on Erwin and Owensmouth. What an irony since the Rams were in St. Louis and I had no idea they’d come back.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it’s good. I watched with horror as Ken Norton Jr. did it to Napoleon McCullum and dislocated his knee to the point his leg bent to the side unnaturally in a 90° angle. McCallum went directly to the ER and had damage to the artery in his leg. Had it burst, he would have died on the field. McCallum was stuffed at the line of scrimmage and wasn’t going anywhere. Norton was just playby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

Snead said in his interview with Peter Schrager that Donald tested on par with the DBs. While Murphy tests well compared to big men, he’s not testing like he could play an oversized DB.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
Sometimes it’s about reps. In the Shanahan offense QBs aren’t required to throw outside the numbers or down field much. Since the team strategy is to be a frontrunner—ball control leading to leads, leaving opponents to play catch up and deal with pressure from their pass rush—Garropolo and Purdy don’t have a lot of down field, outside the number reps. McVay’s offense will provide those reps.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
And the offensive line was sprinting to the other end of the field to start the fourth quarter. I told my dad, look! The lines sprinting the other side of the field (as the third quarter ends). They’re gonna win!!by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
If the league takes away their first rounders as a punishment, Atlanta’s loss only helps the Rams in first round but we would move, effectively, up two spots in the second round. So, we’d have pick 18 and 50.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
