We just watched episode 1. I'm intrigued and I like it a lot! I love the motley crew with all their different backgrounds. QuoteScRAM I was watching a movie with Indians in it & it made me wonder. I figured the answer would be "absolutely not". Was surprised that they CAN... if they have a permit. Learn something new every day.by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
Per info I found on the internet, indigenous people CAN kill an eagle IF they have a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Eagle parts can be obtained legally for religious purposes through the National Eagle Repository, but killing them without a permit is a violation of federal law. Who knew?by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
QuoteRantoulRam Watching the Patriots be allowed to tackle Marshall Faulk every time he ran a route, birthing the Bellicheat "dynasty," dominating all season only to be outcoached in the SB. While I think Martz was clearly outcoached in this game, the dice were loaded with the NFL clearly wanting the red white and blue underdog team to win it all in the wake of September 11. But when Goff is asked about it, he doesn't HAVE to get down in the weeds in his answer unless he just likes being there. There are other ways to handle it, i.e. "I've answered this question several times over the past 5 years and I have nothing new to add to what's already been said. The Rams have moved on. QuoteCoy Bacon OG, can you give us a link as to where to find him complaining? There was a link to an article on TurfShowTimes in the Rams Chronicles forum yesterday. The post was titled "Goff calls Rams Immature for ‘Blindsiding’ Him with Trade". If you Google it, you'll also find other articles on Yahoo Sports, YouTube, YardBarker, Bleacher Report, etc. all stating the same. Rathby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
I've read some really disheartening stuff recently about cuts to the National Cancer Institute and a withdrawal of funding to much of the research they do. I don't know anybody who hasn't been affected by cancer in some way. Either you've had it yourself or someone in your family has had it or died from it, your co-workers, neighbors, heck ... your fellow man. To me it's worth the investmentby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
QuoteOld Goat Do I have to, every year, listen to this man-child cry about being traded to Detroit? I was over it years ago, but yet here we are again as he's obviously not. And calling us "immature" is rich coming from the yearly crybaby. I thought the same thing! For pete's sake, the trade was 5 years ago and he's still whining about it? It's way past time to move on. Granted it's been a long time since we've dominated the 49ers, however we have dominated them since the 70's. From 1999-2004 under Vermeil and then Martz, the Rams played them 12 times and only lost to the 49ers twice. That looks pretty dominate to me.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com

For the first time in a long while (i.e., the past 10 years), the Cardinals are fun to watch. We've watched all 85 games so far (no, not in person). Right now the Cardinals are 2.5 games back which puts them in 3rd place. That's how tight things are in the NL Central.by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
