and thinking back to your input graph... using 1/16th note measures.
One tom, (in your example the lower tom), would be like the Hi-Hat, playing 1/8th notes.
The bass drum would be quarter notes... steady like the Hi-Hat.
I can't draw your graph out using this forum... but the other toms would replace the snare and two Toms. In your example, it's back and forth beginning on the lower Tom... so...
Steady Hi-Hat on one lower Tom playing 1/8th notes.... steady Bass Drum playing Quarter Notes....
Then, ( and again going somewhat by your example).... the lower tom would play on the 1, 5&6 Eighth notes.... the higher Tom on the 3rd and 7th eight note. - JamesJM
