Same here on music and movies..

How many copies of Jaws do I have? VHS, DVD, Blu Ray and soon to be 4K.. same thing with music.. but, now that its digitized that should be the last version you ever hafta buy.. except the one where they implant it in your brain.. lol

Same here with the older apps.. I tend to draw ALL my vector graphics in Adobe Flash.. because Flash vector drawing tools are 100x easier to use than Adobe Illustrator.. but then you can take your Flash vector drawings, convert them to fxg files, import them into Illustrator and export as an Illustrator file or pdf and retain vector format..

Then, if I'm working 3D models, I can take the Illustrator file, import into 3D Max, extrude it, and have a 3D model - all from a line drawing I did in Flash..

but Adobe Flash did away with FXG files.. and Flash has gone too, becoming Animate.. but no fxg file export.. so I hafta keep an old version of Flash just to do that..

New versions of After Effects won't export flv movie files.. which is what you also use in Flash.. So I hafta keep an old version of After Effects just for that.. Ok, I'll quit complaining now lol
