Last week took my grand kids to the western slopes of the Sierras for ski training -they are racers. At 7:45 am we could barely open the door due to the wind which was over 100 mph. At Kirkwood ski resort they measured-so they thought-wind gusts of over 200 mph ! Turns out the instruments were in error and the wind was ONLY around 125 mph. Needless to say no training on that day !
coldest I've even been was on a ski lift in Alaska at dark in the late afternoon-and the temperature was registering at around zero F. Next was in Wrigley Field watching the Cubs in April behind 3rd base with the wind coming off the lake from right field directly to where we were sitting.
But nothing like what you live with. I don't know whether to admire you or to question your sanity. I have an English Springer Spaniel that would take one look at your weather outdoors and say "F... it I ain't going out there and I'm going to poop right here in the living room. Tough !"
