or even seen it in person.. I did look it up and the positives definitely seem to be slanted toward the "distressed look" type finish.. They do claim there's no prep work, because of the thickness of the chalk paint, but if you're going for a distressed look, you probably wouldn't do a lot pf prep work to begin with.. I'm going to post an article I just read from a lady who won't use chalk paint.. after reading her article I probably wouldn't use it for your cabinet application, either..
The thing that stands out to me is that maybe no prep work, but you do have to wax/seal it, so they're saying you probably will break even labor-wise.. plus, chalk paint and the wax can get pricey.. It IS water-based so cleans up easily, but I've found water-based paints to not be as durable - in the article she goes over her own experience with durability..
