And hilarious.
Just off the top of my head the one very 'odd' stage occurrence that comes to mind took place about 10 years ago... we were on a stage built up against a raised Gazebo... so the railing around the Gazebo, about waist high, was about at my shoulders and nearly up against my back as i played the drums.
As the night progressed, and everyone had managed to exceed the alcohol limit, we were playing on of our faster songs and 3 young ladies jumped on the rail behind to dance along with the music. About half way through the song I went blind....
One of the young ladies had fallen and landed directly on my shoulders, her skirt over my head and down to about my chest. It was crazy for a lot of reasons but the strangest one is that she landed so perfectly I did not lose my balance at all.... and finished the song with her sitting on my shoulders. Of course I my head was covered by her skirt so I never saw the audiences reaction... but I heard it, and it was quite supportive.
