I have to say we have 2 malls in our area....one literally shut down...had like 40-50 stores/shops in it. It was bought by a local College going insane with buying up that city/town...The whole friggen Mall...The other mall is in Greensboro, I haven't been there in like 2 years, used to go Holiday time to just be able to get everyones stuff at one stop. We do enjoy window shopping but on nice avenues....Miracle Mile in Chicago...Worth Ave. in West Palm.....eclectic type venues on an open air format.
IMO malls have become kinda creepy....massive building with very few people in them....the stores are generated towards the kids, but the only kids run in packs with their faces glued to phones..their hands are full hence they buy nothing as it would cause them to not be able to do the texting thing so well.....unless they are at the pro level of 1 handed texting.
I was thinking of just going over on Sunday and taking in a nice 1-11/2 hr. hike around to take some time away from the football on the tube deal. Only thing is there have been a couple random shootings in the parking lot (I say local gangs...the media doesn't like saying the word gangs).
It's too early in the season to take a drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway for leaf change......That rid used by bikers....really cool ride...in a convertible would be bad too...hot rod.....station wagon with your 5 kids with peanut butter and screaming adding to the beauty....
Probably just end up sitting out back, racking leaves as they fall and listen to some music....couple of drinks....think about whooping up on the whiners.....
