I think I've told the story before: headed on vacation to Mexico.. also used to fret over the weather forecasts and weather down there thinking I'd get crappy weather.. So, made up my mind not to look at the weather AT ALL a week before the trip.. We fly out of Dallas at 7am, bright, sunny morning.. after about an hour, it goes pitch black outside and I'm thinking, "that the hell?'.. at that time the captain comes on loudspeaker saying, "we're currently flying over the hurricane."

From then on I decided to pay attention to the weather before every trip..
