Since then, I have lost SEVERAL friends from school. In the Spring of 2011, I had a HECKUVA scare with my youngest Son. THAT changed me FOREVER as far as perspective goes. Literally the day after my Son was given the "all clear" for a deadly brain disease, my Brother passed away. The next year, June 2012, my very best friend passed away. 2013, my Dad passed. Since then....I have lost, arguably my next best friend, my Mom and my Step Dad. ALLLLLL that has put me in touch with my mortality and THEEEEE BIG MAN! It has been tough but it has grounded me.
