Paper today says Jansen was hit on ankle with hit ball just before and admits he should not have continued pitching. So maybe I was wrong-although I have not felt as comfortable these last two years with him as I was before. I also recall Kevin Kennedy picking his words about Jansen two years ago in a way that seemed critical of the closer. Maybe that's where it began for me.
