I am a long time fan of Elton... his music, his stage presence... not sure how many times I've seen him but and every time I was left in awe of his talent.
I remember his 'solo' tour... no band, only him and his piano. I was SO mad about that but I still bought tickets and attended the concert. I can remember before the concert griping and complaining to my wife about his band not being on the tour... I was annoying, and then the concert began. He wasn't 3 blessed notes into the concert until I forgot all about the band not being present. - JamesJM
