that seems to be the 'theme' of this year's NCAA Final Game... every media source I've listened to has muttered that refrain time and time again. I'm getting annoyed.
It's not that I don't understand, and appreciate, "Star Power"... but COME ON! I don't understand what seems to me an incessant need to see the same teams over and over and over and over and over again. It reminds me of my daughters who watched the movie "Grease" every single day for 4 or 5 years. Or people who eat the same food every day.
It also seems incredibly disrespectful to me. To mention "Star Power" sure... I can see that.... but to harp on it and rue it at this level, (that I'm hearing anyway), is bad, BAD, media coverage. Get behind what these two teams have accomplished... it is the GOAL, is it not, to reach the level of the teams with 'Star Power'... if when they do the media deems it an aberration, something less than their hopes, IMHO it's certainly not the non-Star Power teams who have failed... it's the media. - JamesJM
