I'm talking Division IV champs. 1st playoff game in the books... somewhat easy win over a team we had already beaten twice this year. We didn't play our best.
Next up Mira Monte out of Bakersfield, I think? Much tougher test and we'll need to play MUCH better than we did last night. Home game tomorrow night.
I like the pageantry for HS Basketball games - they dim the lights, the music slowly builds to an ear shattering crescendo, and the announcer, ( we have a very good one by the way), begins the Varsity starting lineup introductions with his best "Lets get ready to RUMMMBBBBLLLLLLLL" voice. My grandson is always introduced first as he's the only Jr. starter.. the rest are Sr's. - JamesJM
