I have no idea how many genres are listed on iTunes... I think hundreds. Some of them I can't tell any difference at all.

I don't think today's R&B is very close to R&B of just 20 years ago... (not saying it's bad)... I can hear the 'influence' but it's evolved into something very different to me.
