Roy was perhaps my favorite all time guitarist. These losses in the music industry we're suffering these days are simply horrible, depressing...
we grow up with these artists.. they color our lives - doesn't matter whether we know them personally or not.. we know them thru their music - an expression that transcends the material world.
I came to know of Roy's talent probably like most.. "Hee Haw"... but he made a lasting impression on me and I've followed him ever since.
