Sad, in a couple of ways...

obviously the loss of Stan... but also....

I'm not one of those who lives 'without regrets'... I have many... and one of them is: Never really being into comic books.... superhero books.

Yes, when I was very young I read a few but for whatever reason I never got hooked. Today my friends, most of them, revel in those days of waiting for the next episode to hit the drug store magazine rack... and most of them stayed hooked to this very day. I missed out, for the most part.

Oddly, the closest I ever came was following "The Fantastic Four"... but they were short-lived, comparatively. I think the only 'passion' I ever acquired was in the who is strongest debate... "The Thing" or "The Hulk".. the Hulk won.. broke my heart.
