Damn proud of my grandson, as you know... but as the QB that is NOT what he takes most pride... truth is, he doesn't like the position and wishes he could play elsewhere. Especially defense... he got in on ONE defensive play this year and it made his year. They put him in as the deep safety on a prevent defense.
He has called me ONCE this year to brag about his play.. and it was NOT his QB stats.. which were great. He's the #2 QB in Division IV. Nope.. it was his punting.
First year he's ever punted.... didn't even punt in youth football - - and he's #12 in the entire central section... all divisions.
