never saw the movie...never will, my wife and i hate animal movies cause of the sensitivities we have for animals. too emotional for me. I would rather see humans shot dead...those don't bother me at all.

Its a tough roller coaster ride.. ave you seen the movie "A Dog's Purpose"..?
Without giving too much of the movie away, fostering is kind of like that movie.. Very sad when you you lose the dog, followed by immediately starting the process all over again.. Its difficult to keep riding the emotional roller coaster and, for some reason, I feel bad when we let the foster dog go - like I've abandoned him, or something.. I think it would be easier if we worked with a regular foster setup where we would vet the potential adopters, choose one, and then stay in contact with them.. with Underdog Express, we send the dogs to New York and, depending on the adopter, may or may not ever hear from them again..
We are supposed to adopt another injured Beagle from South Carolina and I look forward to adopting him and keeping him and spoiling him.. But, my wife's dream is to foster, so I'm supporting her, but its not easy.. and its not easy for her, either..
