Buehler has surpassed the planned innings limit of 150 innings for the year and he was at 107 pitches, so that is obviously why he came out.
I thought Roberts managed a very solid game. I agree on the argument of Baez coming into the game in the 8th, but I also understand his reasoning for letting Kenley come in, as the guy hadn't pitched in nearly a week. I thought he completely and thoroughly out managed Cora tonight. Cora went all in playing for the win, and since they lost, the Sox are now scrambling to pick a starting pitcher for tonight and pretty much all of their key bullpen arms have pitched in every game and thrown alot of pitches in this series.
Ironically I think Roberts managed a much better game tonight than he did in game 4 of the Brewers series. He was out of position players and bullpen pitchers by the 13th inning. Luckily they scored, as I don't know what Dave would've done after that.
