at a book store in Davis......rounded a corner and ran right into him. (I tend to do this-did the same thing to OJ Simpson). He softly and politely said sorry and moved on (even though it was my fault). He was looking for a book at Borders and obviously wanted to run in and grab it and go unnoticed - so I just smiled and moved on. My dad saw him in Tahoe a few weeks before at a book store. He was an avid reader and collected old books. He lived in the Bay Area.
I sat next to Pam Dawber and her husband Mark Harmon at a restaurant in LA when I was in college.
