I posted yesterday that for me, thus far, (and not predicting the WC outcome), France has impressed me the most.
Then I watched about half of the Belgium match today.
I am slowly, I think, getting better at judging quality play... but this first round in the WC has taught me that I have a ways to go.
So with that in mind, (my ineptness)...
France impressed me the most because I thought they exhibited the most balance between good and offense AND good defense. And even after Belgium's huge win today I still think that, even though Belgium looks to be a juggernaut.
Germany's up next, vs Sweden... I'm expecting Germany to overcome what to this point seems to be a slow start for them.
Then Mexico vs Korea.... I think Mexico wins this one on adrenalin alone, (even though they have a lot more than just that).
