Music: I have Sirius XM both at home and in our cars. There is a station named "The Bridge" that plays classic rock out of the 60s and 70s. Lots of David Chapin, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, etc. Keeps me sane and full of hope. Also like Hawaiian classics (ukulele stuff)
If I'm drinking I love to listen and watch videos of Tina Turner's "Simply the Best". (Celine's version ain't too bad either)My favorite all time band was named "The Band" with Robbie Robertson and Rick Danko and Levon Helm.
My all time favorite rendition of Hallelujah is sung my Katie Lang.
One song that makes me cry every time is Sting's "Fields of Gold" sung by Eva Cassidy when she was dying of cancer. Here are the words and you can understand why:
"You'll remember me when the west wind moves upon the fields of barley
You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky as we walk in fields of gold
So she took her love for to gaze awhile upon the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down among the fields of gold
Will you stay with me, will you be my love among the fields of barley?
We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky as we lie in fields of gold
See the west wind move like a lover so upon the fields of barley."
Oh yes-I love Leonard Cohen. Also with some rain outside, a fire inside, and scotch in my hand, with my dog beside me there is nothing better than listening to Rod McKuen -and songs about San Francisco in the 60s (i.e."As life falls apart In a little room on Stanyan Street."

That's it for now folks.
