Sounds like a great Thanksgiving Frank.
I don't do the whole turkey thing and haven't for a long time...can't stand the breast meat. We do the turkey thighs or legs and smoke the day lights out of them.
Today we are adding to that true dirty rice (my opinion), Gumbo, fried chicken livers and deer liver...not a conventional approach.
What I have come to learn, today is about gathering with loved ones (friends and family)....so I hope you and Vicky have a Happy Thanksgiving.
