I had not considered that angle.... and I agree.... he should have fought it out.
Not having seen him since his Jr. year in High School I have no idea if he's a good college QB or not. Fresno may not need him, for all I know. BUT... I can't easily put aside what he did that first time I saw him play.... seriously, he was other-worldly. I have never seen that kind of accuracy from a HS QB, or a College QB... and only a handful of NFL QB's.
So it's completely 'selfish' of me, I grant you, but I'd like to see Fresno pick him up and let him compete... - JamesJM
