I'd never written, or more importantly tried to record, a jingle before. I just listened to it a few weeks ago... and wow, its pretty not good...I guess its one of those things that when you work so long at (or listened so much to) something that you can no longer tell whether it was good or bad. I went ear blind. Anyway, no one really paid any attention to it and I doubt it helped sell any of the games. I am out of them more or less FWIW. So that experiment ended. Its just out of my ability to do something pop sounding I think. In fact after that I recorded some very opposite of pop songs.
I should send you the song right after I did that, lol... It was about a zealot of one faith who blamed someone of a different faith for all his problems and was out to get him... I sent it to a friend and he said the lyrics were pretty dark, lol. But he had misinterpreted them.
I would do a few tracks if that ever happened, but I'm not sure what I could offer. I am mainly a blues/rock style guitar player. Anything else I do is a struggle. lol
