I thought The Who concert in Cincy ended those?

April 21, 2017 04:42AM
Around 1979 or 80, they had a stampede that killed a few people at The Who concert. I even recall an episode of WKRP In Cincinnati being dedicated to the victims. When the news of that broke, I recall my Brother sorta cringing. He said at his first concert...KISS, here in Jacksonville in 1976, there were so many people trying to get in at once that he could lean almost 45 degrees forward and not fall. He said he was a bit scared.

Sad thing is...THESE days, Ticketmaster will absolutely SCREW YOU with "BEST AVAILABLE" They reserve those to high dollar brokers and they know it!
