I don't know if they still make those. I used to love them, got them in SF. It's a wooden box and you have to push, pull, slide, pieces in the right order to get to the hidden compartment. I digress.

I take high blood pressure medicine... I forget the name of it. About 6 months ago they changed the packaging. It's a thick cardboard box now... with directions that say "Push and Hold Here then pull out medicine"... or something like that. My wife and daughters can do it every time... I cannot. Not once have I ever succeeded and I no longer even try.

I tried a slight push and pull... no go. Hard push and pull, no go. Medium... no. Furious while cursing like a sailor push... nope. Sneaky act like I'm not paying any attention grab the box by surprise push and pull... nope.

Here's what works.... stretch, shake your arms loose to limber up, grab both ends and then, (ripping with teeth helps), rip the thing in two... takes all your strength... and it sends the little pills all over the room BUT... you now have access.

when I hit 80, unless they change the package design, I'll have to quit taking them.... I won't be strong enough, I don't think. - JamesJM
