..and roadie-wise, yeah those guys have that down to a science.. Its actually a very well-oiled machine of an operation because if hey dilly dally they don't make it to the next show on time or don't get any free time between shows.. Often the band or management will throw in bonuses for breaking down and being on the road within a certain amount of time..
I've worked on crews like that before - sometimes big bands will hire local musicians to help with specific things.. I've worked the "back row" a few times and set up guitar gear and side monitors and whatnot.. I couldn't do that work every day.. those guys are monsters - well-oiled, finely tuned monsters..
