I enjoy the Oscars especially the speeches. Some are truly genuine while others seem to go into "character" and seem more acting than just being themselves. I love Jimmy Kimmel and thought he was remarkable given the screw up at the end.
I saw three of the best picture nominees: Arrival, Manchester by the Sea, and Moonlight. They were outstanding and I would have a hard time saying which one was "better" than the others. The one that stayed with me the longest has been "Manchester..." I enjoy actors who can communicate with few words (i.e. facial expressions, etc) and in that light Affleck was superb.
In my next life I want to be a part of Hollywood. I find the entire movie making business fascinating.
