On a bed with no sheets, one blanket... flood still very much a threat BUT...
Tonight after a week of hell I took a break. Crab dinner. Took my two oldest grandsons, their first time going. And, met with a friend I had not seen in close to 50 years... he was in my first band. The stories I could tell, but can't. Too tired, and now it's back to stress and anguish. But for 5 hours, it was great. You'll have to fill in the blanks yourself. Or let Steve do it... I'm quite sure he's qualified to explain what it was like for me to meet with an ex-band brother.. who once was on stage with me opening for CCR. Or perhaps you will remember better if I said John Foggerty.
Not sure what the morning will bring but tonight... life was normal again. Better than normal. - Jimmy
