First, to note: I was thrilled with the win.
And furthermore... when the Ram's actually stopped several 3rd downs I nearly felt 'reborn'.
But there were things I didn't like... about the Ram's play... some obvious - not scoring a TD in two games. Some perhaps not so obvious like unspotted wide open receivers, and (at least in the beginning) what Young ridiculed last week... being horizontal... at the snap of the ball it was rather startling to see just how horizontal they actually are.
So after the game, during the long drive home, I mentioned these 'flaws', and some others, to my grandson's... they weren't having it.
"It was a win", they reminded me. "They played good defense, Pops"... true that. They never doubted, long before yesterday's game, that Britt was a top notch receiver.
So we celebrated.... the Ram's, being at the game.. and also, of course, Friday's night's game in which they both played very well.
